PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE PAYING YOUR INVOICE.
WE WILL STORE YOUR ITEMS FOR YOU FOR FREE FOR A WEEK IF NEEDED WE JUST ASK THAT YOU PAY YOUR INVOICE ONLINE IF YOU CAN NOT PICKUP THIS WEEK.
If you can not pick your items up during the scheduled posted times at least pay for them (by PayPal or interac email money transfer) and we will hold on to them for you for another week.
We NEVER want to charge the late fees! We want all items to be paid for on time but… if you feel the need to be late picking up your items and don’t bother to pay for them on time please be aware that a FEE of
$10.00 PER LOT LATE FEE!
Yes, that does mean $10.00 FOR EACH LOT that you are late paying will be added to your invoice! It’s not 10.00 for the invoice it is PER LOT so if you are late paying for 5 lots you will be invoiced 10.00 for every one of those lots NO EXCEPTIONS! We do NOT want to charge anyone this, we want items to be picked up and paid for on time if your going to imposition us and the consignors then you will be fined this very large penalty for every lot you are late paying for.
It’s really easy and really simple to avoid this… just don’t be late.
You have until Saturday after auction closes to come pick up your items or arrange storage or shipping (5 full days!) and if you can’t pick up the items you can always pay for them online to avoid the late fees. So please do not be late. You can pay online with interac email money transfer or request that we send you a paypal invoice to pay online with credit card.
Can’t make it in on time but want to avoid the late fees simply pay for your items online. We accept two online payment methods at this time.
PAYPAL Open a support ticket from the contact us page and ask us to send you a paypal invoice.
INTERAC EMAIL MONEY TRANSFER: This requires online banking and instructions can be found on your INVOICE page below your invoice.
WHY THE LATE FEE?
It causes us problems when someone is late paying. We want things to run as smooth as possible. We want to be able to pay our consignors on time and not have to move your stuff all around the building when we could be spending that time putting up auction listings. Running this auction takes a lot of work so adding more work is not appreciated by anyone and no one works for free …. it is also very inconsiderate.
REMEMBER, IF YOUR LATE IS NOT OUR FAULT
Believe it or not some people actually get mad at us because they had to pay a late fee? Being late is NOT OUR FAULT so being upset with our staff for something you did wrong is unfair and unreasonable. If anyone is to be mad at you for being late it should be the consignor or us. To avoid this pay for your items on time please no excuse as this rule is posted on almost every page of the site.
Yes, some other auctions may not charge you for inconveniencing them. Chances are they are new and don’t realize how much of a problem this can be and if you are aware of this then you are taking advantage of the owner of that auction as you are inconveniencing them! If you look at any of the long running successful online auctions WE ALL have strict rules on how we deal with late issues and we all have policies in place to deal with this, The higher volume or product being sold the tighter these rules must get to keep the business growing and running smoothly. It is unfortunate that this is even an issue but it is. Some auctions have a 1 day pickup day with a short time window then bill your credit card for the items and disposal bill as well so some have a more extreme approach to this then us and others are less strict but these are our rules and policies so we do not care what other auctions allow you to do we ask that you follow our policies here on how we do things.
